AKA (legally founded under) - American Art Ceramic Co.

It is unknown how long this company was actually in the pottery business but records of their incorporation in Corana, NY are date Dec. 13, 1901.  Simon Marten, Solomon Markstein, Jacob J. Wallenstein and Alonzo L. Tuska were listed as the principals in the articles of the the organization.  They produced a fine line of terra cotta pottery that were said to have rivaled the very best imported styles of the period.  Although a marked piece of their goods has never be found, a mark relating to the company has been recorded.
